Surtron 160 bipolar electrosurgical unit, complete set

The Surtron 160 is a radiofrequency electrosurgical unit for minor and medium monopolar surgery, made by LED SpA. It offers pure cut, blended cut, surface coagulation (forced) and deep coagulation without charring (soft) and, with its adapter, bipolar coagulation.

Maximum power is 160 W for cutting, 120 W blended, 100 W forced coagulation, 80 W soft coagulation and 60 W bipolar, at a working frequency of 600 kHz. The power delivered shows on a digital display, and functions can be changed from the handpiece. The unit monitors the connection of the neutral electrode and, with a split electrode, its contact with the patient. It runs on 115 or 230 V mains, measures 254 × 104 × 288 mm and weighs 5 kg.
