ri-mini® ophthalmoscope, XL 2.5V, black, in case

The Riester ri-mini is a compact ophthalmoscope with a 2.5 V xenon lamp. Its focusing wheel has corrective lenses of plus and minus 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 15 and 20 dioptres, with an illuminated dioptre display.

The aperture wheel offers a small circle and a semi-circle for small pupils, a large circle for the standard examination of the fundus, a fixation star, and a filter that raises contrast for assessing fine changes in the blood vessels. The casing is impact-resistant plastic reinforced with glass fibre, and an eyeglass protector is built in. It runs on two AA batteries and comes in a case.
