The Riester e-scope is a pocket otoscope lit by a 3.7 V LED through fibre optics. Its lens magnifies three times and swivels to either side, and the fitting for the ear speculum is metal.
The handle takes two AA batteries and has a pen clip. The otoscope is suitable for pneumatic testing; the connector and bulb for that are not supplied. It measures 16.9 × 4.9 × 2.9 cm and weighs 160 g.
