The Progetti Rescue SAM 4.0D is an automated external defibrillator with a 7-inch LCD display that shows the patient's ECG and the device's status during the rescue. Rated IP55 against dust and water, it has a front compartment for quick battery changes and a rear compartment that keeps the disposable pads on the device.
Universal pads serve adults and children. The unit runs periodic self-tests, remembers its battery state so it is always ready, gives 20 hours of operation and 200 shocks at full energy on one battery, and is operated with just two buttons. Software can be updated over USB and offered in several languages. The box holds the defibrillator, a long-life non-rechargeable battery, disposable adult pads and the user manual.
