Mission cholesterol meter

The Mission cholesterol meter is a hand-held meter that gives a lipid panel in two minutes or less from a drop of blood. It measures total cholesterol, HDL and triglycerides, and calculates LDL and the cholesterol-to-HDL ratio.

It works with capillary or venous whole blood, serum or plasma, and can work out a cardiac risk assessment. It stores 200 results with date and time, has a mini-USB port, and runs on four AAA batteries or a mains adapter. The meter measures 137 × 79 × 26 mm and weighs 145 g without batteries.
