18D Pro Class B autoclave, 17 L

The iCanclave 18D Pro is a benchtop Class B steam steriliser with a chamber of about 18 litres (Ø250 × 350 mm), made to EN 13060. Its pre- and post-vacuum cycles sterilise wrapped and hollow instruments as well as solid ones, so it suits dental, veterinary, podiatry and small clinics.

Standard cycles are Quick 134 °C, Wrapped 134 °C, Wrapped 121 °C, Prion 134 °C, and the B&D, Helix and vacuum tests; a delayed start and a descaling cycle are built in. A 2300 W steam generator shortens cycle times (a quick cycle takes 12 to 30 minutes). The colour LCD and glass touch keys show the cycle, time, temperature and pressure; the unit checks water quality before each cycle, stores more than 10,000 cycle records, writes them to a USB stick and takes an optional internal printer. It holds 3 trays (5 at most), measures 490 × 455 × 600 mm and weighs 50 kg.
