The CA-MI New Hospivac 400 is the most powerful surgical suction unit in CA-MI's range, on castors, for operating theatres and general surgery. It is suitable for suction of body fluids, tissue or bone from adults and children.

It reaches a vacuum of up to 0.90 bar (675 mmHg), adjustable, with a free air flow of 90 litres a minute. It holds two jars, and a change-over system lets the operator switch to the second jar without interrupting suction. Three systems protect the pump against reflux. The piston pump is oil-free and needs no maintenance, and the unit is approved for non-stop operation. It measures 46 × 42 × 85 cm and weighs 20 kg.
